Hand-made Infinity Scarf
Over the past few months, I have sewn nothing but pillow cases. My garment rack is overflowing with them! I’m having to make regular trips to Wal-Mart to purchase more hangers. I’m a bit ashamed.
But this past weekend I’m happy to say that I ventured into a new sewing territory. I actually sewed something new…. an infinity scarf!
I stumbled upon this fabulous pink and green polyester/spandex/rayon fabric in one of my many shopping trips and thought it was so very cute. I didn’t get it at first because I had no clue what to make with it.
After pondering various sewing projects I decided on a nice off-the -shoulder t-shirt . I figured it would be nice to wear since Spring is just around the corner. But I wasn’t able to find a t-shirt pattern.
So, I brought the fabric home anyway and decided to try making a scarf. It worked! I was so thrilled that my scarf turned out well. I posted the picture on Instagram and can you believe that I immediately had two people ordering the scarf from me??!! I guess my Kozy Kase empire is now expanding into accessories!
