A Little Scarf Crazy

What an easy sewing project this was! Admittedly, I’m a bit of a scarf addict. I wear them year round. It’s a shameful the number of scarves I have hanging in my closet. So, I’m in big trouble now that I’ve taught myself how to make them.

I found a few bolts of jersey knit fabrics in various color schemes. Once I got them home I folded the fabric and cut them into 2 strips about a foot wide. After spreading the fabric lengthwise I pinned each fabric together at one end and sewed the pinned edge together. I then pinned and sewed the other edges together.

And there you have it! A hand-made infinity scarf. This particular scarf has enough length to wrap around my neck 3 times! I love it. And because the material is so light weight it’s a perfect fashion statement for spring.
