Earlier last year I took a sewing class taught by a fantastic seamstress. She was so patient and caring as I made a mess of my pajama pants pattern. At the end of the class, the instructor watched as I cut a scrap of fabric, wrote my  name on it using Sharpie Marker, and sewed the fabric into my newly-created
