Raise your hand if you enjoy doing laundry… yeah, I thought so! If there was one household chore I could do without its laundry. I’m sure the dirty clothes god is angry with me because it seems that no matter how many loads I wash, there is always more to be cleaned.

 

Luckily, I have a nice sized laundry room. This allows me to pile all the unwashed clothes in baskets and close the door! I procrastinate as long as I can until one of my kids yells downstairs that they don’t have any clean underwear.

Since laundry is the bane of my existence I decided that I should tidy up the laundry room to make my job a little more pleasant. I added a small rolling cart to house the detergent, bleach and dryer sheets. And I painted a few pictures to give the room a nice flare. Finally, I bought a few more hampers to avoid throwing the dirty clothes on the floor (which is what I usually do).

Everything has turned out pretty nicely. And while I still hate doing laundry, at least now I have a cozy little room to do it in.
